Recently, InternetNZ started monitoring how .NZ domains were affected by the DNS Flag Day 2020, which took effect on October 1st, 2020. This event, led by DNS software companies and recognizable DNS operators like Google and Cloudflare, aimed to correct issues related to the implementation of DNS around the world.
Our testing has detected some domains may have been affected by DNS Flag Day 2020.
To check if your domain name is compliant, please visit https://dnsflagday.net/2020/. Not complying with those proposals/rules, may lead to DNS compatibility problems in the future, or in the worst case, to problems with the DNS resolution.
