The Google Registry TLD entered General Availability on February 28, 2019, and with over 105,000 .DEV domains in the marketplace, it is already proving to be a promising investment. New Control Panel Section

Access the reports you want, all in one convenient location! Make sure to check out the newly launched Reports section on your HEXONET Control Panel. Simply log in and expand the Support section on the right side bar. Click on the Reports subsection and easily download your daily domain, DNS, and user reports.

URL Shorteners

As of March 30, 2019, Google’s URL shortener, Goo.gl will no longer be available for use. Switching over to a new shortlink has never been easier and, at HEXONET, we offer two URL shorteners via our available Web Apps: Bit.ly and Rebrandly. .LA and .CX Transfer Update

 

Please note that we are updating our system to match the transfer-in requirements for .LA and .CX domains, which calls for the renewal fee to be charged at the time you transfer the domain to your HEXONET account. This will take effect April 4th, 2019.

Due to Brexit and the expected volatility in currency exchange rates between the Pounds Sterling (GBP) and other main currencies, the registry of .SCOT domain names has decided to change their base currency from Pounds Sterling (GBP) to Euros (EUR). As a result, this will affect all prices related to .SCOT domain names (see below for updated pricing). This change will take effect on March 29, 2019 23:00 GMT.

• Reseller Price Class: Changing from 38.44* (net price: 32.30) GBP to 43.79* (net price: 36.80) EUR/Domain/Year
• Premium Price Class: Changing from 33.68* (net price: 28.30) GBP to 38.32* (net price: 32.20) EUR/Domain/Year

.BABY New Pricing and Premium Domain Release
April 2, 2019

 

XYZ Registry has taken over the .BABY TLD and will be releasing thousands of previously classified premium and reserved names at standard pricing on April 2, 2019!

Please note that the following price changes will go into effect on April 2, 2019

• No change to standard domain registration prices.
• Restore Fee for All Price Classes: Increasing from $142.80* (net price: $120.00) to $416.50* (net price: $350.00) USD/Domain/Year

The number of premium tiers will be reduced from 10 to 3 tiers.

.ART Premium Domains
May 14, 2019

 

We will be offering .ART premium domains on May 14, 2019. There will be a total of 9 premium tiers. Premium registration price / reduced premium renewal.

.UK Rights of Registration Deadline
June 25, 2019

 

In 2014, Nominet introduced .UK to complement existing options such as .CO.UK and .ORG.UK.

If your domain name was registered before 23:59hrs UTC on October 28, 2013 you will have the rights to the equivalent .UK domain, providing there was no other corresponding .CO.UK, .ORG.UK, .ME.UK, .LTD.UK, .PLC.UK or .NET.UK registered. For example, the owner of sampledomain.co.uk would have the right to sampledomain.uk. The deadline to take advantage of this right of registration is June 25, 2019. Nominet has published a helpful tool to determine if you have the right of registration. Click here for more details.

Price Increase for .CLUB
July 1, 2019

 

The .CLUB Registry has recently sent notification of three price increases over the next three (3) years. The first of such price increases will be July 1, 2019, when the price for .CLUB will be increased to:

• Reseller Price Class: Increasing from $19.64* (net price: $16.50) to $20.83* (net price: $17.50) USD/Domain/Year
• Premium Price Class: Increasing from $17.26* (net price: $14.50) to $18.45* (net price: $15.50) USD/Domain/Year
• Platinum Price Class: Increasing from $15.35* (net price: $12.90) to $16.54* (net price: $13.90) USD/Domain/Year

Customers that have existing .CLUB registrations should consider renewing prior to this increase.

Price Updates and New Premium Tiers for .BEST
August 5, 2019

 

The .BEST Registry will be decreasing their pricing for standard domains effective August 5, 2019.

• Reseller Price Class: Decreasing from $130.90* (net price: $110.00) to $28.56* (net price: $24.00) USD/Domain/Year
• Premium Price Class: Decreasing from $117.81* (net price: $99.00) to $24.99* (net price: $21.00) USD/Domain/Year
• Platinum Price Class: Decreasing from $104.72* (net price: $88.00) to $22.49* (net price: $18.90) USD/Domain/Year
• Restore Fee for All Price Classes: Decreasing from $178.50* (net price: $150.00) to $107.10* (net price: $90.00) USD/Domain/Year

Please note that domains registered up to August 1, 2019 will be moved to a new Premium tier and continue to renew at their more expensive pricing. Domains registered between August 1-4, 2019 will be charged the existing standard pricing but then renew at the new lower standard pricing mentioned above.

There will be a total of 5 new premium tiers introduced. You will be able to view pricing details in your account on August 5, 2019
