.PT Registration Rules at HEXONET:

.PT - domain must exactly match the owner's name, business name, or trademark
.com.PT - no restirctions

API Registration Parameters

A. VATID
You always have to provide the vat identifiers of registrant, admin-, and tech-c, if the respective contact is used for a .PT domain for the first time. If the registrant contact is identical to the admin- and tech-c, you only have to provide the vat identifier for the registrant.

X-PT-REGISTRANT-VATID = (max. 255 chars) Required, if the contact is used for the first time for a .PT domain
X-PT-ADMIN-VATID = (max. 255 chars) Required, if the contact is used for the first time for a .PT domain
X-PT-TECH-VATID = (max. 255 chars) Required, if the contact is used for the first time for a .PT domain

B. Legitimacy and Registration Basis
For all zones except for .COM.PT two additional parameters are required.

X-PT-LEGITIMACY = (max. 255 chars - Indicates the legitimacy of registering the respective domain (Value List below) - Not required for .COM.PT
X-PT-REGISTRATION-BASIS = (max. 255 chars - Indicates the registration basis for registering the respective domain (Value List below) - Not required for .COM.PT

11 - Public Entity with administrative autonomy
12 - Individual Entity brand holder

Registration Basis (Value Description)

6A - Coincides with the name, abbreviation or acronym of the domain holder
6B - Coincides with the requested / registered brand
6C - Corresponds to the name of the project or temporary action of the holder
6D - Coincides with the name, abbreviation or acronym of the Teaching Establishment designation
6E - Coincides with the name, abbreviation or acronym registered with ANACOM
6F - Coincides with the requested / registered brand in the 38'th class
6G - Coincides with the name, abbreviation or acronym on the ID or residence card
6H - Coincides with the literary, artistic, scientific or professional name
6I - Coincides with the name, abbreviation or acronym registered with the ICS

C. Brand Registration
If the registration is based on a brand, you have to provide further data with the following extensions:
